A partnership initiative of Mayo County Council Arts Office, South Tipperary Arts Service and the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), the Altered Images exhibition includes artworks from the collections of all three organisations. Each artwork is accompanied by a tactile interpretation and a companion audio guide.  Accessible, interactive and inclusive in ethos, the exhibition aims to stimulate engagement with the visual arts for the general public and particularly for disabled people.

The Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin hosted Altered Images from May 2010 until September 2010 and the exhibition has toured throughout Ireland.
